TLP Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 1 and Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Drivers for a well-established client based in Poole. This is an ongoing, full-time position due to continued expansion.
What’s on offer:
- Temp to perm position
- £14.00-£16.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Overtime, standby and call-out available at enhanced rates
- Modern fleet – one truck, one driver
- 4, 6 and 8 wheel vehicles with sleeper cabs
- Varied work including utilities, commercial and domestic contracts
- Training provided if you don’t have vacuum tanker experience
- Supportive and established team environment
- Work is varied and includes contracts with Wessex Water, Bournemouth International Airport, South Western Railways and other blue-chip companies, as well as domestic septic tanks, cess pits and grease traps for pubs and restaurants.
What do we need from you?
- Vacuum tanker experience
- Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (C) licence
- CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience (insurance requirement)
- Good knowledge of Working Time Directive and Tachograph rules
- Willingness to work away from base with occasional nights out
- Comfortable using mobile / tablet-based apps
- Reliable, flexible and professional attitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
