Role Overview: The Import & Export Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating international and domestic shipments via air and road freight, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth supply chain operations across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end import and export operations for air and road freight
  • Coordinate shipments across the UK, EU, and Americas
  • Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade laws
  • Prepare, review, and manage all shipping and customs documentation
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor delivery schedules, resolving delays or issues proactively
  • Negotiate rates and service agreements with logistics providers
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and reporting

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in an Import/Export environment
  • Strong knowledge of air and road freight operations
  • Solid understanding of customs procedures, documentation, and international trade compliance
