We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead all quality assurance activities for the Principal Contractor on a major infrastructure or industrial factory build project delivered under an EPCM model. This senior role is responsible for ensuring that all engineering, procurement, construction, MEP, and commissioning works comply with contractual requirements, approved engineering documentation, applicable codes and standards, and regulatory obligations.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven site-based leadership experience, and the ability to manage quality across complex, multi-discipline construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and project requirements.
- Prepare and manage the Project Quality Plan (PQP) aligned with the EPCM execution strategy.
- Establish QA/QC procedures, inspection regimes, and work instructions for all construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Lead Construction Site Assessments (CSA), audits, and site inspections across all disciplines.
- Identify non-conformances (NCRs) and drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Oversee MEP quality assurance, including review of method statements, ITPs, and submittals.
- Ensure installation, testing, and commissioning activities meet engineering, statutory, and client standards.
- Define quality requirements within procurement and subcontract packages.
- Manage subcontractor and supplier quality performance, including inspections and FATs where required.
- Maintain full lifecycle quality documentation, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Prepare quality KPIs, dashboards, and reports for project leadership.
- Act as the primary quality interface with EPCM consultants, client representatives, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and mentor QA/QC engineers and inspection teams, promoting a strong project-wide quality culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction quality management.
- Proven experience working as Principal Contractor on large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or factory build projects.
- Strong background in construction QA/QC, CSA audits, and site surveillance.
- Solid experience overseeing MEP systems, testing, and commissioning quality.
- Demonstrated ability to manage quality across multi-discipline, high-value construction projects.
- Strong leadership, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience working on EPC or EPCM-delivered projects.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 implementation and audit management.
- Experience managing quality within complex industrial or manufacturing facility builds.
- Prior engagement with international consultants, clients, or regulatory bodies.
