We are recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join a Family Safeguarding Service, focusing on Child & Family Assessments and Section 47 enquiries for new referrals from the Children’s Front Door. You will work directly with children and families to assess risk and need, produce high-quality evidence-based assessments, and contribute to clear safeguarding plans. The role sits within a supportive multi-disciplinary team including mental health, domestic abuse, and substance misuse practitioners.
Essential Requirements
- Social Work qualification & Social Work England registration
- Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience working directly with Local Authorities in England (must be on CV)
- Strong experience completing Assessments & Section 47 enquiries
- Confident, analytical, and child-focused practice
