We’re looking for a Catering Operations Manager to play a key role in planning and delivering catering operations for the Ryder Cup 2027. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a large-scale international event, collaborating with leading catering partners and supporting world-class delivery. The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, live event environment.

You’ll support the end-to-end catering operation, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly – from early planning right through to live event delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the planning and coordination of catering across hospitality, public, staff, and retail areas
  • Working closely with catering partners and suppliers to ensure readiness and smooth execution
  • Assisting with logistics planning, including deliveries, storage, and equipment deployment
  • Maintaining planning trackers, schedules, and operational documentation
  • Monitoring service standards, KPIs, and sustainability requirements
  • Supporting workforce coordination, including staffing plans and accreditation tracking
  • Providing hands-on, on-site support during build-up, live event delivery, and de-rig phases
  • Assisting with financial processes, including purchase orders and invoice validation
  • Contributing to post-event reporting and continuous improvement insights
You’ll bring:
  • 2–4 years’ experience in catering, food & beverage, or event operations
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • A collaborative approach and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems on the go
  • Awareness of food safety and operational standards
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience working on large-scale events or in sport
  • Previous exposure to managing teams or operational delivery
