Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Technical Insight AI Agent Engineer to design, develop and maintain intelligent systems that retrieve, analyse and summarise technical information from a wide range of internal and external sources. This role plays a key part in enabling data‑driven decision‑making, identifying emerging technology trends and supporting high‑level strategic initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong MSc graduate or early‑career PhD with hands‑on agent system development experience who wants to work in an advanced research environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems that extract structured and unstructured data from internal repositories (web pages, documents, knowledge bases) and external sources (websites, research papers, APIs)
- Develop multi‑agent architectures for complex multi‑step tasks, including agent role definition, goal planning, sub‑task decomposition, tool integration, state management and long‑chain reasoning
- Build agent pipelines that retrieve, analyse and summarise technical content into high‑accuracy insights and reports
- Deliver production‑grade AI agent solutions such as intelligent assistants or insight‑generation tools
- Collaborate with research, engineering and strategy teams to support technical intelligence workflows
- Perform any additional duties reasonably required to support project objectives
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (PhD welcomed)
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience building AI agent systems, especially multi‑agent workflows
- Practical experience with agent development frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen
- Strong proficiency in Prompt Engineering and Context Engineering
- Working experience with RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation)
- Excellent programming skills (Python preferred)
- Solid software engineering background with experience delivering production‑quality systems
Desired Skills
- Experience working with technical insights or analysing engineering/AI/ICT domains
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Additional language skills are a plus
