European Tech Recruit are working closely with a multinational semiconductor company, based in Cambridge, who are looking for a talented SoC Platform Architect to join their team. In this role you will act as a system-level architect / technology strategist focused on building high-impact ICs for smartphone, tablet, and consumer device platforms.
Responsibilities as SoC Platform Architect:
- Act as the bridge between product planning (vision), engineering (execution), and customers (requirements).
- Participate in long-term strategy and roadmap planning (3β5 years).
- Translates business / product goals into practical architecture plans.
- Evaluate and recommend inclusion of new technologies (e.g., 3D packaging, chiplets, boot/reset schemes).
- Lead / co-lead proof-of-concepts and early design experiments.
- Provide feedback to CPU / GPU / System IP teams based on platform integration needs.
- Represents the company in customer / partner discussions β gather feedback, aligns direction.
