Senior / Staff SoC Verification Engineer

Onsite – Full-Time – Manchester

Position Summary:

Join a dynamic team focused on verifying System-on-Chip (SoC) designs optimized for FPGA deployment. This role involves building and refining SoC verification frameworks, integrating external verification IPs, creating C-based test cases, reusing existing verification resources, preparing detailed test plans, and automating routine processes using programming languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute verification methodologies to validate assigned SoC modules comprehensively.
  • Partner with design, architecture, and verification teams to interpret design specifications and develop effective testing strategies.
  • Provide clear, concise updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes through regular communication with stakeholders.
  • Drive improvements in verification processes by automating testing and regression workflows to achieve broader coverage.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proficient in SoC verification, including the development and execution of C-based test cases.
  • Expertise in hardware design and verification languages, such as SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems, peripheral interfaces, and protocols like AXI or AHB.
