Role Overview: We’re seeking a senior scientist to lead innovation in pixel reconstruction, working at the intersection of ISP pipelines, image sensor data, and embedded algorithm design. You’ll drive end-to-end image quality improvements and contribute to the evolution of high-performance imaging platforms for next-gen consumer devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and propose pixel reconstruction algorithms to improve detail, reduce noise, and ensure temporal consistency.
- Define roadmap and strategy for ISP-level reconstruction techniques with attention to power, performance, and area trade-offs.
- Collaborate on hardware IP/SOC design, contributing to system-wide optimization.
- Benchmark algorithm prototypes and steer development based on real-world validation.
- Track and evaluate emerging techniques in image processing, denoising, HDR, and multi-frame fusion for embedded systems.
Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD with 10+ years of experience in mobile imaging.
- Strong understanding of imaging pipelines, including ISP architecture and camera module design.
- Hands-on knowledge of advanced pixel-level algorithms: denoising, HDR, super resolution, fusion, and multi-camera registration.
- Experience with simulation tools and interpreting visual system results.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills; able to work across disciplines and cultures.
- Comfortable leading technical investigations and solving image quality bottlenecks.
