A leading tech giant based in Cambridge are seeking to bolster their team with a talented, self-driven Rendering Algorithm Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and prototype rendering algorithms on mobile platforms.
- Propose and deliver performance optimization solutions at both the GPU subsystem and SoC level.
- Research, evaluate, and integrate advanced rendering algorithms and techniques into GPU solutions.
- Contribute to the development of GPU features supporting next-generation graphics standards and game rendering pipelines.
- Support innovation by exploring emerging areas such as neural rendering, frame generation, and upscaling techniques.
Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD preferred, with a strong background in graphics algorithms and rendering flows.
- Solid knowledge of graphics APIs (Vulkan, OpenGL ES, Metal, etc.) and GPU architecture.
- Hands-on experience with advanced rendering techniques and mobile GPU performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with neural rendering (e.g., 3D Gaussian Splatting, Neural Radiance Caching, Neural Textures).
- Practical experience with leading game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) and mobile-specific GPU architectures.
