A global tech company based in Cambridge are seeking to bolster their security capabilities with a Physical Security Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance Physical Security capability within Enterprise Security, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk and cyber security.
- Develop and implement Physical Security strategy, policies, and standards, including zoning, access control, CCTV, PSOC, and incident management.
- Define and maintain Physical Security architecture, secure-by-design reviews, and strategic access control to reduce insider and unauthorized access risk.
- Lead site assessments using a tiered model, establish PSOC operating model, incident response playbooks, and integrate physical incident response with cyber and crisis management.
- Manage Physical Security technology strategy, vendor relationships, gap analysis, and executive reporting on the organization’s physical risk posture.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in strategic and operational Physical Security, with the ability to translate risk into business and cyber context.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly with senior leadership across teams.
- Experience in vendor management, delivery oversight, and collaborative cross-functional work with Enterprise Security, Workplace, and other stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise risk, compliance frameworks, and integration of physical controls with identity, SOC, and other enterprise systems.
- Recognized Physical Security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CSMP) and experience in multinational or technology-led organizations; program/project management experience is a plus.
