We are looking for a PCB Engineer to join a world leading semiconductor company at their site in Cambridge . You will contribute to the design of cutting-edge compute platforms, working at the forefront of embedded hardware development. These platforms support software development & validation for internal teams & external customers. Define, develop, & commission new hardware platforms, focusing on PCB design & integration with chip packaging. Develop PCB breakout strategies & conduct Signal Integrity (SI) & Power Integrity (PI) analysis. Collaborate with chip packaging teams to influence SoC pinout design based on PCB constraints, feasibility, & cost analysis. Perform escape routing analysis for high-density SoCs & estimate IO routing capacity under specific design rules. Plan & schedule tasks to meet project deadlines, ensuring close coordination with the program team. Proven experience working with chip packaging teams to align SoC design with PCB requirements. Strong understanding of SI & PI analysis from both board design & chip packaging perspectives. If they are successfully placed, we offer a great referral scheme!
