Responsibilities
- Define block-level and top-level specifications for high-speed digital circuits aligned with system performance goals.
- Review and refine architectural specifications to ensure efficient, robust designs.
- Collaborate with analog and mixed-signal teams to define and implement analog/digital interfaces.
- Design, implement, and verify RTL code in SystemVerilog or similar languages.
- Partner closely with verification and physical implementation teams to meet timing, functionality, area, and power objectives.
- Support post-silicon bring-up, lab debugging, characterization, and productization activities.
- Manage work packages, schedules, and communication, providing updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
- Strong background in designing high-speed digital circuits using advanced CMOS technologies.
- Proficient RTL design skills (SystemVerilog preferred).
- Experience with PHY design for high-speed interfaces (e.g., USB4, PCIe) is a strong advantage.
- Advanced understanding of low-power and high-speed design techniques.
- Knowledge of signal-processing concepts (a plus).
- Familiarity with scripting/automation tools (Python, Tcl) for design flows.
- Solid understanding of clock-domain crossing concepts and mitigation strategies.
- Experience reviewing synthesis and static-timing-analysis results.
- Knowledge of verification methodologies such as UVM is beneficial.
- Exposure to analog design approaches and industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence) is advantageous.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and personal ownership.
