We're partnered with a leading Semicon organisation and they are seeking a Senior System Security Architect to join its Crypto and Security Competence Centre. This is a senior, cross-cutting role with real influence over security architecture across a broad product portfolio, spanning embedded systems, industrial applications, and connected technologies deployed at scale. This is a permanent role, working on a hybrid model in Glasgow, Scotland.

What you will be doing:
- You will drive end-to-end security analysis for complex multi-product solutions, with a particular focus on cross-product features, interactions, and interfaces.
- A significant part of the role involves translating regulatory and certification requirements into robust, future-proof architectures, and clearly communicating the cost-benefit tradeoffs of different security mechanisms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You will also analyse how different technologies integrate to create secure, seamless solutions, and keep a close eye on emerging trends including AI and ML, assessing the risks and opportunities they introduce into the security landscape.
- Your work will directly shape the organisation's security posture and strategy in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.
What they are looking for:
- A master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Experience designing or developing secure systems, ideally within embedded or end-to-end solution environments.
- Background in sectors such as robotics, e-mobility, home and building automation, or healthcare would be advantageous.
- You should have a solid grounding in embedded software design principles and the communication skills to explain complex architectural decisions to stakeholders across a range of technical backgrounds.
