We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across IT hardware, software, networks and workplace technology. You’ll be the local point of contact for end users, supporting everything from laptops and printers to meeting rooms, servers, network equipment and specialist devices, while also providing hands-and-feet support to global IT teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage incidents, service requests and IT tasks through the ticketing system.
- Install, configure, transfer and decommission laptops, servers, network and video-conferencing equipment.
- Provide hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting, repairs and data migration support.
- Support onboarding/offboarding, VIP users and global IT teams.
- Manage IT inventory, stock and hardware lifecycle.
- Provide network support, including patching and debugging.
- Support printers, including maintenance, consumables and vendor coordination.
- Provide hands-on support for meeting rooms, audio/video equipment and events.
- Maintain and support equipment in server rooms.
- Support non-standard technology such as digital signage systems.
- Coordinate remote support and assist with site-level deployment and decommissioning projects.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles for end users.
- Manage IT equipment disposal in line with company processes.
Experience
- Experience in IT On-Site/Desktop Support or IT Infrastructure Support.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of PC hardware, software, networking and peripherals.
- Experience working with ticketing systems and IT service processes.
- Comfortable troubleshooting hardware, network and workplace technology issues.
- Experience supporting meeting rooms, video conferencing and AV equipment.
- Good understanding of hardware installation, deployment and decommissioning.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with end users and VIPs.
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently while collaborating with global IT teams.
