We are looking for highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineers to join a fast-growing industrial tech startup focused on reinventing manufacturing. You will play a central role in building and scaling their proprietary platform, transforming factory operations in aerospace, energy, and other critical industries.
The company is focused on speeding up manufacturing for the scale-up companies shaping the future, from rockets and drones to satellites and nuclear energy. Currently running four small-to-medium software-driven factories across the UK and US, they are on track to expand to 25 factories by the end of 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Architect, design, and develop critical systems for factory automation, real-time data processing, and user experience.
- Own full-stack development across infrastructure, backend services, machine learning, UX, and real-time monitoring.
- Work directly with leadership to identify bottlenecks and build software solutions that improve factory operations.
- Deploy and iterate software rapidly on-site, integrating directly with production processes.
- Lead projects from conception to deployment, ensuring fault-tolerant systems in demanding environments.
- Optimize machine tool utilization and manage orchestration across multiple production facilities.
Requirements:
- 2–6 years of full-stack software development experience, exceptions made for exceptional talent.
- Strong programming skills, ideally in TypeScript and React, with experience in Postgres, AWS, Terraform, and DevOps.
- Experience translating operational challenges into impactful software solutions.
- Bonus: prior experience in startups, aerospace, defense, or as a founding engineer.
This is a full-time, on-site role in London (five days per week) with a competitive base salary plus equity (typically ~0.5% for engineers with a few years’ experience). There is an opportunity to work on software that directly accelerates industrial operations in high-stakes environments. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
This is an opportunity to shape the software backbone of a company bringing manufacturing into the future, working closely with a small, experienced team with backgrounds in military, government, enterprise, and exited tech ventures.
