Job Description

We are looking for a Firmware Engineer with expertise in power electronics to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware for next-generation EV charging solutions. You will collaborate closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to ensure seamless system integration and high-performance functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for power electronics systems in EV chargers.
  • Work on hardware-software integration to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Implement control algorithms and real-time applications for efficient power management.
  • Optimize firmware for performance, safety, and energy efficiency.
  • Conduct debugging, validation, and system-level testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware requirements and design specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in embedded firmware development using C/C++.
  • Solid understanding of power electronics and control systems.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, DSPs, or ARM-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and communication protocols like CAN, Modbus, or Ethernet.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in power electronics is a plus.
  • Experience in EV charging systems or renewable energy products.
  • Proficiency in debugging tools and hardware testing equipment.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity for embedded systems.
