CPU Research Engineer (Contractor) A leading semiconductor organisation is seeking a CPU Research Engineer to work on next-generation mobile processor microarchitecture, focusing on performance-per-watt improvements and advanced out-of-order execution design. Successful candidates will research, model, and optimise CPU architectures, contributing to the design of high-efficiency mobile CPUs through simulation, profiling, and microarchitectural innovation. This is a highly technical role combining academic research depth with practical CPU design impact.
