We are currently partnered with an industry leading semiconductor company looking to expand their headcount with an experienced GPU Compiler Engineer to work on their next generation GPU cores. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GPU cores exceed performance targets for next-generation mobile and data processing platforms. This is a permanent position based in Cambridge - please note this is a fully onsite role.

Key responsibilities for this Compiler Engineer position:

  • Architect and optimize GPU cores for peak performance and power efficiency.
  • Develop high-performance GPU compiler software and drivers to support cutting-edge graphics products.
  • Build functional model simulations and develop graphics tests to verify architectural correctness.
  • Program and run graphics tests to identify bottlenecks and ensure power/performance (PPA) goals are met.
  • Create detailed feature descriptions and technical guides for internal and external stakeholders.

Key requirements:

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant GPU experience, specifically in hardware/software co-design.
  • Deep understanding of GPU architectures and graphics pipelines.
  • Experience in compiler development or graphics driver software.
