I’m currently supporting a leading global technology organisation on the search for an experienced Atlassian Specialist to join them on an initial 10-month contract. This will be hybrid, (2 days per week onsite in Cambridge) and will be inside IR35. We're ideally seeking people that can start by mid to late May.

This position will play a key role in the migration of Jira and Confluence environments from Data Center to Cloud, while also helping deliver a new Atlassian-based project management capability across the business.

Key responsibilities:
  • Translating business requirements into scalable Atlassian solutions
  • Supporting Jira & Confluence Cloud administration and configuration
  • Developing and maintaining tools that improve engineering delivery
  • Managing process controls to ensure platform integrity and performance
  • Supporting complex requests and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required experience:
  • Strong Jira Cloud & Confluence Cloud administration experience
  • Hands-on expertise with Groovy, ScriptRunner and Jira Automation
  • Experience gathering requirements and delivering solutions autonomously
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and optimisation
Nice to have:
  • Experience migrating Atlassian Data Center to Cloud
  • Knowledge of Java and/or Python
  • Exposure to Atlassian marketplace apps such as Structure, Draw.io, JXL, Mosaic or Exalate

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact transformation projects within a collaborative and technically advanced environment.
