European Springs and Pressings Ltd are leading experts in the field of spring manufacturing and high speed press technology. We’re dedicated to providing our clients with the best springs and pressings as Europe’s leading spring manufacturers and spring suppliers, and our products are used in major industrial environments all over the world.
We are looking for an experienced production supervisor for our production/assembly area. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising the output and quality of a diverse workforce engaged in the manufacture of metal parts, focusing mainly on organisation, assembly, packing and storage. 40 hours per week – on rotating shifts: day, early and late.
European Springs has seen significant growth in both volume and diversity of products over recent years, and is looking to recruit an individual who will fit into a small, but highly motivated workforce, and one who is willing to be both flexible in their approach to work, but highly organised and able to manage staff to ensure on-time delivery of a diverse range of scheduled and spot orders.
Personal Requirements
- 3 years min. supervisory/management experience (preferably in manufacturing, but not essential)
- Proven ability to motivate a diverse workforce
- Stock control experience (stockroom and computer-based)
- Attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work with management to ensure uninterrupted supply of products to customers
- Ability to organise workload, measure outcomes and take corrective action as required
- Must be prepared to work shifts
- Must be a ‘Team Player’ and have the ability to build peer relationships
- Hold high personal and professional standards and apply these consistently
- Able to set standards and expectations on staff and manage these
- Prepared to be a ‘key holder’
