About the Role
The Junior Professional in Market Intelligence is part of the Market and Business Intelligence Section in the Future Programmes Division within the Systems, Strategic Programme Lines and Technology Department.
The role supports ESA’s Resilience, Navigation and Connectivity programmes by providing market intelligence, financial analysis and socioeconomic impact assessments.
Location
ECSAT, Harwell, United Kingdom or another site as required.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse market and business information in the domains of satellite connectivity, telecommunications, and related vertical sectors; generate actionable insights and guidance concerning the evolution of the Resilience, Navigation and Connectivity programmes.
- Analyse trends, opportunities and threats, and the evolution of the business environment in a European context and within the global space economy.
- Generate regular reports on the general market evolution and specific reports on significant aspects at market segment level, including verticalisation of markets and the merging of space markets into wider telecommunications ecosystems.
- Support a systematic approach for the collection of market information.
- Maintain the RNC Market Intelligence toolsets.
- Train users on internal business intelligence processes and tools.
- Suggest business analysis tools to support the analysis of the changing environment (e. g., natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs)).
- Collect, analyse and disseminate socioeconomic impact data, finding new and innovative ways to extract insights from large volumes of data.
- Technical Competencies
