Role Overview

We are seeking an Events Operations Executive (Italian Speaker) to support the Operations Manager in the delivery of our international exhibitions. This is a highly operational, hands-on execution role, focused on supporting the full lifecycle of event delivery (pre-event, on-site, and post-event). The role requires strong attention to detail, fast execution, and a proactive mindset in identifying issues and proposing practical solutions. The successful candidate will work closely under the guidance of the Operations Manager, while being trusted to independently manage defined operational tasks and day-to-day execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Event Operations
    • Support management of exhibitor data and operational communications
    • Assist in coordinating suppliers, contractors, and venue logistics
    • Support floorplan updates and space allocation processes
    • Prepare operational documentation and build-up readiness under direction of the Operations Manager
  • On-Site Execution
    • Act as a key operational support contact during build-up and live event days
    • Coordinate exhibitors, suppliers, and internal teams on-site
    • Handle operational issues in real time
    • Ensure smooth delivery of venue services and operational processes
    • Provide hands-on support to exhibitors throughout the event
  • Post-Event Operations
    • Support breakdown operations and venue handover
    • Assist in collection of operational feedback and basic data consolidation
    • Support post-event reporting preparation

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in event operations, ideally within the exhibitions / trade show industry
  • Fluent Italian speaker with strong English (written and spoken)
  • Experience in fast-paced live event environments
  • Good understanding of exhibition logistics and operational delivery
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
  • Strong ability to solve operational issues quickly and practically
  • Comfortable working under pressure in dynamic environments

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly operational, execution-driven Events Operations Executive who can reliably support the Operations Manager across all event phases. A key expectation of this role is the ability to work independently on assigned tasks and proactively identify operational issues and propose practical solutions.
