MBDA UK is seeking a proactive environmental professional to lead impactful initiatives that enhance environmental performance across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Shape and implement activities to address Scope 3 emissions, focusing on waste, travel, commuting, home‑working and logistics.
- Lead biodiversity enhancement projects and other site‑based environmental improvements.
- Collaborate with ESG, Facilities, SHE, Procurement, Travel, Site Management and Engineering teams to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Prepare corporate sustainability reports, including Climate‑related Financial Disclosure and Carbon Reduction Plan.
- Support international sustainability initiatives with peers in France, Italy and Germany, aligning with EU requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by turning plans into measurable outputs that enhance sustainability and business performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Act as a driver for change, delivering practical, business‑focused solutions that achieve both environmental and operational improvements.
- Demonstrate behaviours that reflect our core values: team spirit, commitment, integrity, passion and innovation.
- Possess environmental management expertise at or above the level of Full Membership with the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (MISEP).
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and engage effectively with colleagues across all levels of the organisation.

- Bring proven, relevant experience within a large organisation or corporate environment.
