Overview
Project Manager (Operational Excellence) – Location: Brize Norton, 100% onsite. Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am–7pm). Security Clearance: BPSS+ (ITAR restrictions apply). Rate: PAYE £41.10/hr or Umbrella £55.00/hr.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Lead Operational Excellence System (OES) projects from start to finish
- Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, and to the highest quality
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across engineering operations
- Manage cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
- Apply Agile methodologies to streamline delivery
- Influence stakeholders and manage expectations with confidence
- Integrate lessons learned and proactively manage risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure project success
What We\’re Looking For
- Proven experience in project management within the aerospace industry
- Strong background in Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
- Skilled in Agile frameworks, MS Project, and stakeholder engagement
- Certified in PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Experience in change management and leading transformation initiatives
Nice to Have
- Expertise in problem-solving tools like Root Cause Analysis and Process Mapping
- A degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
