Role Profile
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Executive to join our events division. In this role, you will join a team to sell stand space and sponsorship across a luxury interior design event. You will be responsible for closing business from both new and existing leads, contributing to the growth of our event.
Key Responsibilities
- Confidently sell stand space using a consultative sales approach.
- Conduct tele‑sales activities and confidently close sales via telephone, video calls, and face‑to‑face meetings at industry events.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts.
- Source and close new business opportunities independently.
- Assess competitive events and provide feedback to improve future strategies.
- Contact previous exhibitors and prospective companies to drive sales.
- Source relevant leads through magazines, online, networking and events.
- Manage your sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in Salesforce and other CRM systems.
- Meet weekly activity levels and KPIs, including calls per week and sales targets.
- Willing to identify or suggest opportunities for brand growth and new revenue streams from dialogue with clients.
- Cross‑sell and up‑sell to grow customer account revenue.
- Provide feedback to event development teams throughout the sales cycle.
What do I need?
- Experience in Event Sales essential.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative sales approach.
- Strong ability to source and close new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
- Knowledge of the interiors sector is a plus but not essential.
