Join Guidant as we collaborate with the world's largest aircraft manufacturer, Airbus. We are in search of skilled Aircraft Fitters to join Airbus' Systems and Equipping areas, based at the prestigious Broughton site where you will be situated within the Wing Build Production section.
This role is not an Electrician position; however, candidates with an electrical background bring valuable experience in installation, routing, testing, fault finding and working to technical drawings and standards.
About The RoleResponsibilities include:
- Installation, fitting and integration of aircraft systems and equipment.
- Conduct repairs on metallic and composite materials.
- Work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, build instructions and specifications.
- Carry out functional checks, continuity checks and basic system testing.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Record work accurately in accordance with company and aviation standards.
- Occasionally work in confined spaces or at height.
Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10, Week 2 - 13:30 to 20:40 (Mon to Fri). Nights: 20:45 to 06:00 (Mon to Thurs).
Who are we looking for?We are looking for individuals who have completed a Domestic or Commercial Electrician full Apprenticeship including an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent).
