Your Team- At a Glance

The global Asset Management team consists of 92 colleagues in total, based in Denmark, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, the UK, and Brazil. We are responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of power-producing assets, offering asset management services for internal and external assets, and providing power sales services.

The European Energy UK team consists of 20+ colleagues working principally from our office in Glasgow. As a team, we value collaboration and a sense of shared and individual responsibilities. Your New Role- Make a Difference

As a Technical Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation of our own and third-party portfolios of renewable energy assets in the UK. Your focus will be on managing day-to-day technical activities, performance analysis, and reporting on our solar PV parks in the UK.

We work closely with our in-house Commercial Asset Management team, O&M, EPC, Project Development, and Innovation to achieve our goal of optimizing operational assets with a special focus on performance and cost optimization.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • QSHE – you lead a strong culture of safety; prioritize health, safety, quality, and environment; ensure our QSHE values flow through all aspects of project identification and development; adopt a mindset of continuous improvement and transparent reporting on all aspects of QSHE both internally and with project partners and stakeholders.
  • You ensure that the assets comply with legal, mechanical, electrical, safety, and environmental regulations, both contractually and locally.
  • You are responsible for general contract management, including risk management, compliance, and reporting.
  • You supervise and focus on optimizing the technical operation of solar PV projects, including full responsibility for OPEX budget and technical performance through data analysis and KPI management.
  • You coordinate with O&M and service providers of assets to manage the operation and maintenance of the sites, requiring technical reporting, O&M contract negotiations, and QHSE management of works.
  • You build and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, and manage relationships with and between customers, insurance companies, authorities, EPC, O&M, lenders, banks, investors, landowners, and local communities.

Your Profile

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar.
  • You have 2+ years of work experience in the renewable energy sector and have a solid technical background.
  • You possess an in-depth understanding of the technical operation of solar PV plants.
  • You understand UK health and safety regulations, including CDM, IOSH, Nebosh, or similar.
  • You have experience with reviewing and managing contracts.
  • You have solid Microsoft Office 365 and data analysis skills.
  • You write and speak English at a professional level.
  • Experience with OFGEM and BEIS platforms is beneficial.

Additionally, you have an eye for issues that arise and act on them based on your technical and data-driven approach. Finally, you find it natural to coordinate with your team and involve relevant stakeholders to ensure optimal production of PV farms.
