Details
The main purpose of this role is to work within the ECPR IT Department, with approximately 60% of the role focused on software testing and quality assurance and 40% on software development. The post holder will learn the codebase and business rules, test website and application changes, document and retest defects, support user acceptance testing, and undertake minor bug fixes and small enhancements.
Working with developers, ECPR colleagues and stakeholders, the post holder will help ensure software changes are reliable, meet agreed requirements and are maintainable, while continuing to develop C#/.NET and wider web development skills.
The post holder will have strong communication skills, a methodical approach and attention to detail, with knowledge or developing experience of software testing, development practices and software development using C#.
