Job Description

European Circuits Limited (ECL) is a privately owned company within Clydebank who have been in operation for over 22 years manufacturing printed circuit boards and printed circuit board assemblies. The company are looking to expand their business and therefore require to fill a number of roles to implement the controls which will be paramount to this growth.

 

We’re looking for PCB Assembly Operators. You will be responsible for the assembly of components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s), both PTH and SMT to the highest standard required by the company. Your role and responsibilities will include PCB assembling and soldering to IPC standards, cable assembly looming and terminating work, cable crimping and soldering on connectors and assembly of mechanical sub-assemblies.

 

The jobholder may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

 

Ideally the candidate should have previous experience, although we will be able to provide training on this role. However the candidate would need to be committed and willing to learn, organised and be able to operate independently and as part of a team. It’s a fast-paced environment which produces a high standard of quality. You would be expected to understand technical documentation include Bills of Materials (BOM’s), drawings and assembly instructions and understand and recognise electronic components.

 

The role would be ideally suited to a candidate who has excellent soldering and dexterity skills.

 

This is a full time permanent position with a fast growing company and the opportunity to become part of a great team. Overtime regularly available. Annual holiday entitlement of 28 days, including statutory days. We offer a competitive rate of pay – starting rate would depend on the level of experience the candidate had.
