Principal Responsibilities Of This Position

As our Content Optimisation Manager within the Eurovision Song Contest Commercial Team, you will play a key role in shaping Eurovision’s digital strategy and enhancing fan engagement across social platforms. Working closely with the ESC Digital team, you will turn data into actionable insights that drive storytelling, audience growth, and innovation. The role has a strong commercial dimension, using data and insight to maximise the value and impact of Eurovision’s digital content.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Producing weekly, monthly, and quarterly analytics reports for Eurovision’s social and digital channels.
  • Analysing performance on platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X to identify key trends and audience behaviour.
  • Delivering data‑driven insights to support the Commercial, Digital, and Communications teams.
  • Supporting A/B testing and experimentation to optimise content strategy and fan engagement.
  • Advising on rights management and platform policies, ensuring compliant and effective content distribution.
  • Contributing to Eurovision’s research and technology roadmap, identifying emerging tools and methods for insights and innovation.

Your Skills And Experiences

We are looking for a commercial‑mindful, data‑driven digital native who thrives in fast‑paced, creative environments and understands what makes content resonate on social media.

Essential

  • Proven experience (5–7 years) in social video analytics or a similar role.
  • Expertise in YouTube Analytics and familiarity with social platform algorithms, SEO, and keyword optimisation.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to translate complex data into clear narratives.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure, especially during live event periods.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive mindset with high attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Desirable

  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau).
  • Passion for music, digital media, and the Eurovision Song Contest.

Language
