European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is looking for a Commercial Partnership Manager.
The EBU Media Department – Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) is the world’s largest live music event, uniting 37 broadcasters and captivating a global audience of over 166 million viewers.
In 2025, Basel proudly hosted this iconic celebration of creativity and diversity, welcoming more than 500,000 visitors and reaching billions through broadcast, digital, and social media channels.
ESC continues to deliver unmatched reach and impact across television, streaming, and experiential platforms. With record-breaking engagement among younger audiences, the Contest remains one of the most powerful cultural brands globally.
Within this dynamic environment, the Commercial Partnership Manager will play a pivotal role in connecting brands to the vibrant Eurovision universe—creating partnerships that are as bold, joyful, and inclusive as the Contest itself. The role has a strong commercial focus, driving revenue‑generating partnerships and ensuring that every brand integration adds measurable value to both the Eurovision Song Contest and its partners.
Principal Responsibilities
- Drive engagement with global and local brands by developing meaningful and creative partnership opportunities.
- Lead the end‑to‑end process of brand integration—conceptualization, pitching, execution, and post‑event evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with internal ESC teams, EBU strategic partners, broadcasters, and agencies to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Design innovative cross‑platform integration strategies across broadcast, digital, experiential, and virtual touchpoints.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain Eurovision’s position as a leader in global brand engagement.
- Deliver impactful sponsorship activations that reflect the Contest’s commitment to creativity, unity, and excellence.
Your Skills And Experiences
- Proven track record in brand partnerships, sponsorships, marketing, or advertising experience within agencies or large‑scale events.
- Demonstrated creativity and strategic thinking, able to transform brand objectives into memorable activations.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Energetic, confident, and commercially astute with a passion for entertainment, music, and storytelling.
- A relationship‑builder who thrives in multicultural, fast‑paced environments and can work both collaboratively and independently.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability in delivering high‑quality outcomes.
Language
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Additional languages are an asset.
Education
A relevant professional or tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, business, or a related field.

- Familiarity with the European media and agency landscape.
