Europcar is looking for a Fleet Coordinator

Would you like to be part of the Europcar team? We are seeking a Fleet Coordinator at our Edinburgh Airport location.

You will work in a fast-paced environment where customer service is at the core of everything we do. Your responsibilities will include providing world-class customer-facing service, managing fleet tasks such as overseeing transporter trucks and fleet operations, and assisting with vehicle returns to ensure seamless and efficient processes. Effective fleet management is crucial for improving logistics, reducing delays, and enhancing coordination. This role will contribute to operational efficiency and better customer service by ensuring vehicle availability and smooth returns, leading to increased reliability, minimized downtime, and a professional service experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a high-quality rental service to meet customer needs
  • Recognizing and reporting prospective business opportunities and competitor activity
  • Selling the company’s services and products to achieve targets
  • Handling telephone enquiries professionally
  • Completing rental administration, vehicle documentation, and damage reporting accurately
  • Working with the driving team to deliver and collect vehicles for customers

Key skills and attributes required:

  • A full, valid, clean driving licence with at least 4 years of driving experience
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude and professional appearance
