This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, sales driven individual to join our fast-paced Road Freight division. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining your customer base within your allocated area/location while ensuring that you are meeting your monthly GP targets.
As a Business Development Manager your main responsibilities will include:
- Source sales leads using the company’s in-house CMS, or other sources of information.
- Make telesales calls (outbound) to potential clients to profile and qualify the prospect, using your knowledge of the Europa product portfolio.
- For the first 6 months, manage the accounts in your business base by maintaining and developing the levels of business within that client base, ideally with the aim of becoming the sole supplier.
- Make regular contact with your customers pro-actively to ensure that we are satisfying the needs of the customer and with a mind to developing further business opportunities from within that account.
- After developing the account for 6 months to win the most business possible, you will hand the account to customer service to ensure the balance to win new customers remains.
What you will bring to the role as a Business Development Manager:
- Must have a full UK driving license.
- Passionate about sales and customer service.
- Be eager to learn, develop and excel in your career within sales.
