We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Europa team. The role will involve working within a team, as well as on your own initiative and supporting. The ideal candidate will have experience within an administration role, customer service knowledge, and strong communication skills.

What you will be doing:
- Credit control/accounts receivable experience with a focus on debt collection and cash recovery.
- Ability to manage high-volume customer contact via phone and email to resolve outstanding balances.
- Experience using systems (e.g. WebSend) to issue invoices and raise queries (price disputes, customs, POD, goods not received).
- Skilled in escalating overdue accounts, including legal action and working with external agencies where required.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, maintaining accurate notes, diaries, and follow-up actions.
- Experience with reconciliations, unallocated cash, and basic financial adjustments/journals.
- Confident producing and interpreting aged debt reports and working with internal teams to reduce debt.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.

- Detail-oriented to ensure all customer interactions and agreements are documented correctly.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple customer accounts and follow up on action dates.
- Understanding of credit management and experience with escalating cases to legal proceedings.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments to resolve customer issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, credit managers, and external agencies.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all customer interactions and when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
