Europa Worldwide Group is an ambitious, independently owned logistics business operating across Road Freight, Air & Sea, and Warehousing. Our sustained growth and commercial success have earned us a place in The Sunday Times Top Track 250 for three consecutive years. With 15 sales offices across the UK and Ireland and a growing international presence across Europe, Hong Kong, China, India and Dubai, we continue to invest heavily in our people, infrastructure, and long-term future.

If you’re a commercially driven sales professional looking for a business where results are recognised, career progression is real, and your contribution genuinely makes an impact — Europa is a place where you can thrive.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our established Road Freight sales team. This role is focused on winning new business, developing your own customer base within a defined area, and working towards clear monthly GP targets. You’ll have responsibility for growing accounts initially, before passing them over to Customer Services so you can stay focused on new opportunities. It’s a busy, targeted role and would suit someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, meeting customers face to face and building long-term relationships.

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Proactively source new sales leads using Europa’s in-house CRM/CMS and external prospecting methods.
  • Make outbound telesales calls to identify, qualify, and profile opportunities using your knowledge of Europa’s road freight services.
  • Manage newly won accounts for the first six months, focusing on account development and maximising share of wallet, ideally becoming the sole supplier.
  • Maintain regular, proactive contact with customers to ensure service satisfaction and identify further growth opportunities.
  • After six months, hand over established accounts to Customer Services, allowing you to remain focused on winning new business.

£35,000 – £50,000 base salary (depending on experience) + £5,308.50 car allowance + Full training and ongoing development + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + Enhanced maternity and paternity pay + Clear opportunities to develop and progress within a growing global organisation + Europa benefits scheme (following successful completion of probation) + Contributory company pension scheme.

A confident, resilient, and self-motivated sales personality.

Full UK driving licence.

Field sales experience within freight/logistics is preferred but not essential.

A genuine passion for sales and customer service.

Proven ability to perform in a targeted, performance-driven environment.

A desire to learn, develop, and build a successful long-term career in sales.
