This is an important addition and newly created role within the programmatic sales team reporting to the Head of Digital Advertising in London and carries the responsibility to continue the solid growth of programmatic sales revenue, specifically for the French market. This appointment will suit an entrepreneurial character to hunt new business and increase programmatic sales within France.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with our existing Programmatic Lead to develop a strategy in growing the current share of Euronews existing programmatic sales activity in France.
- Identify new and build on your existing relationships with programmatic buyers initially in France, then in neighboring markets such as Switzerland through regular meetings, calls and recommendations.
- Liaise with marketing to review and adapt all sales material related to programmatic selling that this role will use locally.
- Grow awareness and generate demand around our ad inventory offer and create a reputation of innovation for Euronews in the marketplace.
- Identify and execute new trading opportunities, including PMP’s and guaranteed deals across our entire portfolio of inventory including desktop, mobile web, app, YouTube Inventory and CTV.
- Work closely with our Programmatic Operations Manager and our dedicated Programmatic Ad Ops Specialist to collaborate and ensure that all sold campaigns deliver in full and hit the KPI’s set.
- Work with the Programmatic Lead to build custom ad packages for premium programmatic partners and support revenue growth in France initially and surrounding markets.
- Evangelize Euronews at national Programmatic and digital events to act as a brand ambassador by attending and representing our media.
Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital programmatic sales is a must, preferably from a media owner with an extensive list of trading desk/agency/client direct contacts in Paris and the wider French market.
- Must be a fluent French speaker and conduct all meetings and calls in French.
- Have a good understanding of the global programmatic marketplace and where Euronews can add value to buyers.
- Experience in sell-side business development and media sales.
- Strong relationships across the digital & programmatic community.
- Experience with ad technologies/platforms such as DSPs, DMPs, measurement vendors and data providers.
- Consultative selling skills with the ability to anticipate and overcome concerns by positioning value propositions in relation to client needs.
- Actively attend key industry events in Paris and follow trends/emerging ad technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to address business and technical audiences.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt and work in a small but entrepreneurial atmosphere.
