Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the VP of Growth Marketing will transform marketing into a commercial co‑owner of revenue, build Euromonitor's demand generation engine and deploy AI and intelligence‑led marketing to unlock the full potential of one of the most powerful proprietary data assets in the world. You will be a core member of the commercial leadership team – shaping strategy, influencing enterprise decisions, and challenging the status quo. You'll take ownership of a global marketing, communications and events function, with clear accountability for performance and outcomes. With a SaaS‑like mindset, you'll move marketing from activity to impact, from awareness to accountability, and from intuition to data‑driven execution. Working in close partnership with Commercial, Product, Technology and other senior leaders, you will deliver a unified, data‑led approach that strengthens brand reputation, accelerates market share growth, and drives measurable revenue impact.
Responsibilities
- A revenue‑driving marketing strategy: Define and execute a global marketing and communications strategy tightly aligned to commercial priorities. Own go‑to‑market strategy across products and services, with clear accountability for outcomes. Build a scalable growth marketing model across the full customer lifecycle – acquisition, expansion and retention. Embed rigorous performance measurement, ROI discipline and continuous optimisation.
- A modern demand generation engine: Build and scale demand generation and account‑based marketing, in deep partnership with Sales. Own product marketing: positioning, messaging and adoption. Translate intent data, behavioural signals and buyer insight into dynamic Ideal Customer Profiles. Take direct ownership of marketing‑sourced and marketing‑influenced pipeline and revenue contribution. Represent marketing at commercial QBRs, with clear reporting on impact.
- Brand authority and thought leadership: Evolve Euromonitor's global brand, positioning it unmistakably as a market and thought leader. Lead a full brand refresh, including visual identity, tone of voice and a modern, performance‑driven website. Elevate content, editorial and design standards to match the quality of our insight. Drive executive‑level media engagement and high‑profile thought leadership. Own global communications, digital, content, events and social strategy – with consistency and commercial intent.
- An AI‑native marketing operation: Establish Euromonitor as a leader in AI‑generated search and discovery (GEO). Deploy AI across personalisation, content creation, lead scoring, intent monitoring and performance reporting. Build responsible AI governance around quality, accuracy and brand voice. Identify in‑market buyers earlier through AI‑powered intent signals.
- A globally enabled, locally effective model: Create a global framework that empowers regional teams to deliver against shared OKRs. Set the right balance between global consistency and local relevance. Equip teams with playbooks, tools and insight to maximise impact in market.
- A high‑performing, commercially accountable team: Rebuild and rebalance the function with new capabilities in growth marketing, operations, data and AI. Lead a lean, high‑output, AI‑augmented organisation. Instil a culture where every role understands its contribution to pipeline and revenue. Own the global marketing budget and allocate investment for maximum return.
Qualifications
You are a senior B2B marketing leader with a track record of building modern, revenue‑driven marketing organisations at scale. You bring:
- 10+ years of progressive senior marketing leadership in global, matrixed environments.
- Proven success partnering with C‑suite leaders and influencing enterprise strategy.
- Deep expertise in growth marketing, brand leadership and data‑led optimisation.
- Experience leading transformation, repositioning or function rebuilds.
- Strong commercial acumen and clear accountability for revenue impact.
- Confidence operating with ambiguity, pace and high expectations.
- A future‑focused mindset, with hands‑on experience leveraging emerging technologies.
- Experience in data, insight, SaaS or adjacent B2B models is highly valued; market research experience is a plus.
Your mindset: You see marketing as a revenue engine, not a support function. You're commercially courageous, AI‑curious, and energised by transformation. You know what great looks like – and you hold the bar high.
