Purpose of the roleThe Talent & Development Partner delivers the core elements of our global talent agenda, spanning performance, development, succession and capability. The role is focused on embedding simple, effective practices that drive individual growth and business performance, balances operational delivery with insight and continuous improvement to ensure talent activity makes a real impact.
Key Accountabilities- Performance management: Deliver the core performance cycle with a focus on simplicity, adoption and business relevance.
- Talent and succession planning: Support the planning and delivery of our global talent and succession processes. Help identify key roles, capabilities and pipelines, ensuring follow-through and action planning that sticks.
- Development and capability: Design & coordinate development activity across key initiatives and audiences. Support scalable learning experiences that build capability for now and the future.
- Employee progression: Work with HR Business Partners to support career progression frameworks, mobility opportunities and clarity on what good looks like.
- Insight and data: Track and analyse core talent and development metrics to provide meaningful insight into trends, risks and opportunities. Translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Manager enablement: Support the delivery of manager-focused tools and interventions, including coaching, performance feedback, career conversations and team development.
- Project delivery: Coordinate and contribute to the delivery of talent initiatives, from development programmes to skills mapping, ensuring pace, alignment and follow-through.
- Ways of working: Help simplify and improve our talent and development systems and processes, with a focus on experience, commercial impact and scalability.
- Experience delivering core talent programmes such as performance reviews, succession planning and career development.
- Proven ability to deliver scalable performance and development initiatives with rigour and simplicity.
- Strong analytical skills with confidence in using data to inform decisions.
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage across levels.
- Commercial awareness and ability to connect people activity to business outcomes.
