About the role: The PR & Communications Manager in London will work within Euromonitor International’s Communications department to help us take our news production in target markets and industries to the next level. The successful candidate will ensure Euromonitor’s message is communicated to press, public and stakeholders, in line with our organisational values and goals. As a member of the Euromonitor press office, you will aim high, embrace challenge and contribute to the company’s messaging, strategy and decision making.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop campaigns and stories for Euromonitor’s key industries and target markets to drive timely publicity and organic media activities;
  • Support production of collateral for our internal communications setup;
  • Manage a team of communications executives across global markets and provide them with leadership and mentorship in their activities;
  • Write, proofread and quality control as required all internal and external collateral produced within the PR & Communications team;
  • Champion adoption of AI tools across the team to improve production efficiencies and act as the ‘human in the loop’ to advance content quality;
  • Work closely with our marketing, research, product and commercial teams to ensure alignment in all storytelling;
  • Collaborate with our people team to establish strategy and best practice in content development for our employee communications;
  • Enhance the organisation’s presence in key media with a multi-faceted approach to PR, combining digital and traditional practices;
  • Act as the primary coordinator of external communications campaigns to determine and drive press-facing campaigns across Americas, EMEAI and APAC;
  • Align with global press office team and stakeholders to enforce crisis and reputation management protocols as needed;
  • Understand and advise on the trade, national and global press landscape for planning;
  • Conceive and draft collateral, including press releases and media/training briefings;
  • Work with global communications team to report on campaign and project performance;
  • Align with key stakeholders to manage content pipeline and execute communications on commercially relevant topics;
  • Ad hoc tasks including events support as requested by marketing-communications leadership across global and regional activities.

Competencies / Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a communications, PR, media relations role (in-house or agency) or journalism;
  • Familiarity with media databases and PR tools;
  • Efficiency in copywriting, editing and proofreading;
  • Comfortable with media monitoring and reporting on results to senior staff;
  • Tech-friendly, with a willingness to learn and lead on AI adoption;
  • Awareness of PR & Communications best practice;
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills, with a knack for storytelling;
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key people and media;
  • Fluent English;
  • Self-motivated with initiative and enjoys working within a commercial environment;
  • Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work well as a team and independently.
