Overview of the role
The HR Business Partner will support the Regional HR Director EMEAI in executing HR strategies and initiatives across the region. This role will focus on providing strategic and operational HR support to various departments, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of HR expertise and hands‑on experience in managing HR functions within a dynamic and matrixed organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Strategic HR Support: Assist in the implementation of the global HR strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives across EMEA and India. Collaborate with the Regional HR Director and C‑Suite leaders to support HR initiatives and drive organisational effectiveness. Provide coaching and support to managers to enhance leadership capabilities and foster a culture of high performance.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with HR Business Partners and Office Managers across key locations, including Vilnius, Bangalore, Düsseldorf, Dubai, and Cape Town. Foster collaboration within the HR team and engage with regional HR Directors and specialist Centers of Excellence to develop and implement best practices.
- Leadership Development: Support initiatives focused on enhancing leadership capabilities across all levels of management. Drive HR initiatives that support organisational change, cultural transformation, and employee engagement across the region.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations while maintaining alignment with global HR policies and practices. Utilise HR metrics and analytics to inform decision‑making and enhance HR services across the region.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business leaders and employees, acting as a trusted advisor on HR matters. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote HR initiatives and foster a positive organisational culture.
Skills / Proficiencies required
While qualifications in HR are appreciated and interesting, relevant work‑based experience is of equal value. This may be Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification. Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic HR role within a global, matrixed organisation. Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices across EMEA and India. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a hands‑on approach.
