About the role
Euromonitor International is looking for an experienced Consumer Research Consultant to join our Consumer Insights practice in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on global projects, delivering actionable insights that shape strategic decisions for leading brands. As a Consumer Insights Consultant, you will be the go‑to expert for custom survey design and consumer research within our Consulting division. You’ll manage end‑to‑end survey projects, from scoping and pricing through to execution and delivery, ensuring client satisfaction at every stage. This role combines technical expertise with client‑facing consulting, offering variety and impact.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead Custom Survey Projects: Design sampling plans and develop robust survey questionnaires tailored to client needs. Oversee survey programming, hosting, and data cleaning. Conduct advanced statistical analysis (e.g., regressions, cluster analysis) and interpret results to generate actionable insights.
- Client Engagement & Business Development: Partner with Consulting and Sales teams on proposals, pitches, and client calls. Present findings and recommendations clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders.
- Drive Best Practices & Training: Develop and deliver training sessions on survey methodologies. Maintain and enhance Euromonitor’s custom survey resources and documentation.
- Thought Leadership: Collaborate with our syndicated Consumer Insights team to expand survey offerings and share best practices globally.
What we’re looking for:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in survey development and fielding management, including advanced techniques (conjoint analysis, maxdiff, Van Westendorp). Past success managing projects with a survey or other consumer insights component. Proven experience and success developing high‑quality survey questionnaires. Familiarity with qualitative research methods (focus groups, mobile ethnographies). Proficiency in survey programming tools is a plus.
- Consulting & Communication Skills: Strong ability to synthesise complex data into clear, compelling insights, producing summaries of research findings as well as ‘big picture’ stories. Excellent client‑facing skills working directly with clients to offer the best custom survey solution and analysis for each project. Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. Ability to collaborate effectively with a group of creative individuals to produce highly polished and professional finished products. Exceptional written and verbal communication in English.
What you’ll get from us:
- Work on high‑impact global projects with leading brands.
- Be part of a collaborative, innovative team shaping consumer insights strategies.
- Access to professional development opportunities and thought leadership initiatives.
- Be a part of our inclusive and diverse London head office.
