We're looking for a qualified solicitor around 6+ years’ PQE gained within a well recognised national or regional practice, to join our UK client’s in-house legal team as an employment lawyer.
You'll work autonomously alongside Senior Legal Counsel on a broad range of employment related legal issues in a thriving and dynamic company.
You can expect a busy and stimulating workload as the trusted advisor to the business.
No two days will be the same, and for example, you'll: Advise on current and forthcoming employment related legislation and best practice, mitigating legal risk Manage employment dispute resolution and tribunals through to completion, liaising with external lawyers Draft contracts, templates and advise the business on HR issues Take on relevant project work Draft employment contracts, draft or amend policies and procedures, etc.
Be able to work with lots of autonomy, but also collegiately with members of the benefits team, HR team or broader legal team If you've worked in the UK and also had some experience working in another European jurisdiction, that could be a real asset but certainly isn't essential.

To be considered: You’ll be a qualified solicitor or barrister, and either come straight form a law firm, or you'll have a combination of law firm and in-house experience You'll possess a core specialisation in employment law.
You’ll be pragmatic, commercially savvy, an excellent communicator, and you’ll embrace being a critical part of a successful international business.
