The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We welcome applications from both full-time and part-time candidates, with flexibility for working patterns between 30 and 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Please note that this is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

As HR and L&D Administrator, you will work as part of the HR Shared Services team, providing HR Administration support and responsibility for training administration.

Job Responsibilities
  • Set up of courses and events in the People First system
  • Administration of courses and events through the People First system including managing course invites, waiting lists and course attendance
  • Assist with training administration activities including booking meeting rooms, booking trainers, processing invoices, compiling training material
  • Look after meeting room set up and greet tutors/candidates for courses at Wolverhampton
  • Send, track and collate responses for course surveys
  • Support the L&D Manager with maintaining training reports and monthly updates
  • Create accurate offer letter and contract for new starters and employees changing roles
  • Create change letters for employees with amendments to existing terms & conditions
  • Update the People First HR system and internal systems with new starters, changes, and leavers information throughout the various elements of the employee life cycle
  • Support maintenance of HR system as needed including any exceptional holiday carry forwards approved and any changes through holiday buy and holiday sell schemes
  • Manage the administration requirements during TUPE transfers, redundancies and acquisitions
  • Support the administration processes for maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave and parental leave, etc.
  • Provide basic HR / Recruitment process advice and guidance on company policy related issues
  • Scan and file documents to personnel files as & when required
  • Respond to reference requests relating to employment, mortgage & tenancy requests
  • Monitor return of documents for key processes such as return of appraisals, training needs, etc.
  • Manage employee benefits schemes as requested
  • Carry out general administration tasks for the HR Director, including typing meeting minutes, scanning, filing and photocopying
  • Submit monthly expenses on behalf of the HR Director and Managing Director
  • Support with event, travel and accommodation bookings
  • Assist HRBP’s with minute taking including investigations, statements and hearings as and when required
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices for HR activity
  • Support the management of the door access system at the Wolverhampton site for existing & new staff
  • Comply with General Data Protection Regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Support the HR team with project work as and when required
Qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE level
  • Experience working in a busy administration role
  • Confident in interacting with managers and employees at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised, able to plan ahead and meet deadlines / objectives
  • Able to work with multiple systems and processes
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team, as well as independently to complete own work
  • Able to prioritise work
  • Willing to complete training as needed for role
  • Trustworthy and capable of keeping confidential information confidential
