Job Description
Position Summary: Reviews analytical data generated by laboratory experiments for quality, contract compliance, and proper documentation. Acts as a team resource for guidance during data reduction. Responsible for identifying data issues and working with the department manager to resolve them.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews data recorded/produced by instrumentation for:
- Valid information
- Discrepancies or inconsistencies
- Contract and client expectation compliance
- QAPP and quality control standards compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Chemistry or related field, or over 10 years of relevant experience.
- At least 4 years of bench-level analytical experience plus formal QA training, or 3 years QA experience.
- Knowledge of EPA methodologies, QA principles, SOPs, and proficiency in English.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of environmental methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with laboratory techniques, QA requirements, computers, spreadsheets, databases, and LIMS.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving skills, and ability to influence change.
