Join the dynamic Eurofins Electrical and Electronic UK Limited team and contribute directly to servicing our customers’ needs. As an Apprentice Calibration Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for the calibration of electrical and electronic test equipment, working in a small team of engineers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working full-time as an engineer with on-the-job training alongside the apprenticeship learning.
- The college course consists of 2 years day-release along with apprentice portfolio work taking up to 4 years to complete.
- Further academic qualifications are available up to NVQ Levels 2 & 3 over the 3-4 years.
You Will Need:
- An open approach to learning and a keen interest in physics & maths (minimum Grade 5 GCSE maths and Science plus minimum of Grade 4 in English).
- A willingness to develop new skills in a job that comes with training and career prospects.
- Excellent IT skills (especially MS Excel manipulation).
- A willingness to learn and be a good verbal communicator.
Upon joining the Eurofins Electrical and Electronic UK team, you will receive a competitive package with good pension provision, training and development, and the opportunity to progress in a growing and ambitious company. The post is full-time (37.5 hpw, 8am to 5.15pm Mon to Thurs & 8am to 12.30 Friday), and we offer five weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays and a company pension scheme.
