We are seeking a Scientist - HPLC & Dissolution Testing to support analytical method development, qualification, and routine testing within a dynamic laboratory environment. This role will work closely with client scientists and play a key role in executing chromatographic and dissolution-based assays. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC and USP dissolution testing, along with strong technical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine analytical testing on submitted samples using HPLC, GC, and dissolution methods
  • Support method development, optimization, and qualification activities
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and assist in resolving basic method-related issues
  • Serve as a backup analyst across additional analytical techniques
  • Provide feedback to client scientists on assay performance and improvements
  • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and support general lab organization

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 3-4 years of industry experience
  • Master's degree with 1+ year of industry experience

Required technical experience

  • HPLC / UPLC operation, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • USP Dissolution Testing (Apparatus I & II)
  • Strong understanding of chromatographic principles

Preferred experience

  • Gas Chromatography (GC)
  • Particle size analysis
  • Spectroscopy techniques (MS, NMR, IR)
  • Ability to work in a regulated (GMP) environment with strong attention to detail

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. The position is full-time, Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Cambridge, MA, are encouraged to apply.
