As an Analytical Advanced in-vitro (AiV) Scientist you will join a global, cross-functional team of AiV experts to support the analysis and development of pharmaceutical oral drug products.
Employment Details: Full-time, permanent position working a flexible 36.5‑hour week, Monday–Friday. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non‑routine analysis, develop analytical methods using traditional and modern techniques, and ensure all work complies with GLP expectations and project requirements.
- Contribute to the development and validation of bespoke analytical procedures tailored to the needs and challenges of oral product development.
- Operate client‑based advanced in‑vitro tools on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Apply experience in chromatography, ideally including Empower CDS, to conduct analytical testing and technical reviews, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and scientific integrity throughout the development lifecycle.
- Prepare and approve analytical results for tests in which you are trained and deemed competent, and support the training of Eurofins or client employees in analytical techniques and electronic systems where you hold demonstrable expertise.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline with hands‑on experience in pharmaceutical analysis within a development or regulated laboratory environment.
- Confident operator of HPLC/UPLC, dissolution, mass spectrometry and spectroscopic techniques, with the ability to independently interpret complex data, troubleshoot issues and develop robust, validated analytical methods.
- Solid understanding of chromatographic principles and experience designing, optimising and stress‑testing methods to ensure robustness, reliability and data integrity.
- Good working knowledge of GLP and quality expectations, applying best practice in day‑to‑day laboratory activities to meet regulatory and compliance standards.
- Comfortable using chromatography data systems (e.g. Empower), LIMS/ELN and modern digital or AI tools, with basic statistical or scripting skills to spot trends and monitor method performance.
