Responsibilities
- Lead proposal generation
- Review client requests for capabilities, certifications, and scope
- Keep all internal stakeholders informed throughout the process
- Facilitate and/or complete discussion on the proposal strategy
- Confirm that lab certification(s) meet project requirements
- Confirm that lab compound lists and limits meet project requirements
- Determine the lab placement of the work
- Identify and work with subcontract laboratories
- Submit proposal information and pricing to Pricing Desk
- Generate the proposal documents
- Obtain approval by stakeholders
- Submit the proposal
- Update status in LIMS
- Review the RFP and/or other requests
- Request legal review if necessary
- Identify, coordinate and work with all stakeholders to meet deadlines to submit proposal
- Provide QAPP/SOW documentation
- Provide second level review to others' proposals
- Lead stakeholders identified (BUMa, Scope Leader, AE or other)
- Go/No Go decision
- Discussion of proposal strategy
- Lab placement of work
- Identification and inclusion of any Subcontractors
- Lab completion of pricing documents with the appropriate level of management approval prior to submission to NPT
- Final approval
- Follow up on Proposal for award and debrief
- As assigned, various proposal support functions: review incoming proposal requests & assign lead, initial review and evaluation, library text editing and updating, software architecting, proposal library maintenance, developing new model proposal types, document updates, standardization initiatives, follow up on the proposal & update proposal status in LIMS
- Website registrations in order to obtain and respond to RFPs
Qualifications
- BS in Natural Sciences, Business or Marketing
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in proposal generation/bid or quote generation
- Project Management experience is desirable but not required
