Eurofins Environment Testing is hiring a 2nd shift Chemist in our Metals Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain instrumentation
  • Tune and calibrate instrument daily
  • Analyze quality control and client samples
  • Review and assemble data in an efficient manner with a high degree of quality
  • Evaluate current organizational and analytical systems
  • Suggest and implement the necessary corrective action to ensure alignment with client and/or regulatory requirements
  • Perform all duties with minimal supervision

Role is Monday to Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm. Training will be Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or another related discipline, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major).
  • Previous experience in a lab setting, ideally with ICP-OES or ICP-MS.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2–5+ years of experience with IPC-OES or ICP-MS.
  • Previous metals experience in a lab setting.
